Golf Legend Calvin Peete to Host Clinic at Trump International (1605 hits)

Donald Trump's, Trump International Golf Club; Calvin Peete, 12-time PGA Tournament Winner; Doug and Ryan Stewart-the 2 Live Stews, nationally syndicated sports talkers; and J&J Entertainment Foundation, Inc. a 501(c)(3) non-profit, announced today that 35 foursomes are invited to a charitable weekend getaway, including golf and networking at the exclusive Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida on Saturday, November 1, 2008. A weekend of activities is planned beginning Friday, October 31.

Trump International Golf Club, rated the best course in Florida and one of the top courses in the country, is host to the LPGA ADT Tour Championship where the winner receives a $1 million prize. This private, members-only course fetches a $450,000 initiation fee.

"Not only are we moved that Mr. Trump would be so kind - we are pleased to offer this once-in-a-lifetime luxury weekend excursion to avid golfers who are ready for a new challenge during a beautiful time of the year, on an exclusive golf course, which they might not otherwise play-and all for a charitable cause," said Jennifer Pasley, Founder of J&J Entertainment Foundation, Inc.

Proceeds from the golf excursion will benefit "South Fulton Teens Rock," a J&J Entertainment Foundation, Inc. initiative empowering youth through development programs and a future teen center that will offer educational, arts and athletic enrichment.

Golfers on the trip are in for a rare treat as Calvin Peete will conduct a clinic prior to teeing off. There are plenty of activities for non-golfers too including a Gala & Silent Auction, 4-hour private yacht tour of Miami, casino gaming, sightseeing, spa treatments, and upscale shopping.

Confirmed celebrities include Gary Burley, Former NFL Player; Stefanie Schaeffer, 2007 Winner, "The Apprentice"; Brandi Seymour, Reporter, The Golf Channel; Larry Smith, Sports Anchor; CNN Headline News; and Wayman Tisdale, Smooth Jazz Recording Artist.
