Why Spike? Disney Disses Black Cinema (21388 hits)

Disney's marketing of upcoming film by Spike Lee, "Miracle at St Anna" raises marketing questions. Following, Spike Lee talks about black cinema with Rolling Out TV.

Disney put the following picture on the movie's website for one reason: to appeal to white movie goers who might turn away from a movie if the poster included a black man. Why else would they cut off the head of a black soldier?
